Adams has extensive federal and state bench and jury trial experience and is a former Assistant United States Attorney in the District of Arizona. While working as a federal prosecutor, she was the Affirmative Civil Enforcement Deputy and a member of the Department of Justice’s Health Care Fraud Task Force. In this capacity she investigated fraud allegations that involved health care practitioners and hospitals. This experience and her success in private practice as a Phoenix criminal defense lawyer have positioned her to handle a wide variety of the most complex white collar criminal defense cases.

Ms. Adams’ experience as a prosecutor, investigator and defense attorney has enhanced her ability to guide clients through administrative processes and investigations. She has also represented various clients who have been accused of many other white collar crimes as well as other crimes including assault, theft, drug trafficking, prostitution, DUI, illegal gambling, and other crimes charged under both state and federal law.

Due to her commitment to clients and record of success with a wide-range of criminal cases, Adams received a score of a perfect “10” from the attorney ranking organization Avvo. Adams is also an adjunct professor at Arizona State University’s Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law, a regular speaker at Arizona State Bar meetings, a co-chair for the American Bar Association’s White Collar Crime Committee and a member of its Health Care Fraud Subcommittee. She is also an active member of her community as a contributing columnist to the magazine Scottsdale Health, a head coach of a girls’ soccer team and a Criminal Justice Act Panel Member representing indigent defendants.
